I went to try to get into the army awhile ago just for the hell of it. (i knew they wouldn't let me in because of all the scars i have). anyways...first day i took the ASFAB, that's the standardized test based on an IQ test so they can put you wherever they want you. i maxed out the score, so i was jazzed about that. then the next day was all the medical stuff. piss in a cup, give blood, eye ear and gay<!--EZCODE LINK...

I have found that the biggest challenge for me in vamp relationships has been the overflow of emotion. Vamps are very emotional creatures. We seem to feel everything more keenly. We seem also to have a tendency toward manic depression. How do you deal with the mood swings? Do you find that they happen more when underfed?

<font face="veranda"...

For anyone new to the jargon, I found the definition in the vampire almanac. A Black Swan is a non-vampire who loves a vampire, and is generally aware of, supportive of, and accepting of their vampire lifestyle. A White Swan is a non-vampire who loves a vampire, and does not understand, and is frightened by their vampire nature, and wants them to be normal, and leave a lifestyle that is thought dangerous or satanic.

I am pleased this section was added, I found it profoundly lacking in the old Pathway, where many of the questions revolved around the border between the vampire and the mundane worlds. I think the key lies in understanding and acceptance, in trust and truth. Those usually work backwards. If you are truthful with your lover, they will trust you. If they trust you, they will accept you, and it is possible that they might eventually understand you. It's possible to love someone you don't...
